More Easter Fun

In addition to all the Easter fun we've been having, we also took a trip over to the Science Center with Megan, Eli and Isaac. We spent most of our three-hour visit in the Ecosystem exhibit, which has a River Zone, Pole Zone, Desert Zone, Ocean Zone, LA Zone, and Discovery Zone. The kids loved it.

Entering the Ecosystem where there's a huge IMax-type video intro. Westin was pretty enthralled.

The ocean life area was a big hit

I even got Westin to touch a star fish at the tide pools

Goin' for a ride in the Pole Zone

We spent almost an hour in the Discovery Zone, where Westin and Eli read books, played with puzzles, stacked huge blocks, and played in the kitchen. This area was great for Megan and me too because it was relatively small and completely enclosed. No escaping!

On Wednesday night we had a little BBQ with some friends.

Then on Friday we had a ward Easter egg hunt. Westin was still just interested in immediately getting into the first egg he found. Basically, I was the one collecting the eggs while Westin ate candy. Good times.

Lunch at the park

On Saturday Westin got a sudden fever in the morning and was out of commission most of the day, but today he was as happy as can be when he discovered his Easter basket full of pool toys, bubbles and a new coloring book.

Happy Easter!
