Finally, the final post in the Rebers & Cottrells Visit series... we just had too many good times!
On our second day in Germany, we toured the city of Munich. Our hotel was just outside the city, near the Olympic Park - so, we started there. The park was beautiful and really fun to walk around and explore.
Westin loved having so many friends around. When he wasn't attached to Erika, he enjoyed goofing off with Nick.

This was a great stop for Westin - there were a ton of fun activities for him to enjoy
The water bubbles (I made that name up) were my favorite to watch Westin try out. I was surprised he was even interested in doing it and actually doubted that he'd go through with it once they were zipping him up in the bubble... but he did it and LOVED it!

Before leaving, we rode up to the top of that big tower pictured above to see the view of Munich.

After Olympic Park, we drove in to Munich for lunch and some site seeing. We had just enough time to walk around the main city center before Ryan, W and I had to leave to head back to Zurich to return the rental car.

Next to this building are these lion statues that people rub for good luck - even the locals, who would just casually rub it as they walked by.
That afternoon we headed back to Zurich to return the car. The Rebers and Cottrells hung out in Munich a little longer and then met us at our place in Zug later that night. They were troopers and dealt with our lack of accommodations for the night before they flew back to the states the next day. We had such an amazing time with this gang. We hated to say goodbye... and are just waiting to figure out the next big adventure we can take together.
