Wintertime in Utah

We've been having a great time in Utah the past ten days visiting my family. We head back to LA tonight, but I thought I'd get some of our pictures posted now because there are tons more come.

We headed out last Sunday night and have split the time between my mom and dad's houses, which has actually worked out really nicely. Westin was very excited to see grandma and grandpa, and may have been even more excited to see the snow.

It's never a dull day when visiting grandparents. We've been dining, shopping, checking out Christmas lights, snowboarding, visiting friends, playing in the snow, and so much more in the past ten days.

Here are some pictures from the first few days of our trip.

Westin trying to decide what he'd like to eat at Zupas. He picked up the menu by himself, looked at it and said, "hmmm" like he was actually reading it and trying to decide what he wanted.

We made a quick trip down to Provo one day to check out this cool toy store. Westin loved this little car and drove it all around the store.

We also had the chance to meet up with our friends the Evers who just moved back to Utah from Omaha. Allie's dad owns a skating rink that also has this awesome room full of blow up slides, bouncy houses, a laser tag, a blast zone, and a jungle gym. We ended up going twice while we've been here and both times Westin has loved it to the point of tears when we had to leave.

his is the prize W picked out after all the tickets we won.

So these pictures only take us through the first three days of our trip. Like I said, there's lots more to come.

Enjoy the holidays.
