Westin is very detailed oriented and is closely examining this pumpkin to see if it's the right one for him. (Actually, this was about two seconds before he put it into his mouth).

There were these giant rocking horses all around the pumpkin patch - and they actually rocked back and forth. We saw several adults get on them and go for a little ride. Kind of random. There was also a fortune teller in a giant pumpkin, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and bouncy slides... so, yeah, definitely will be better next year.

We couldn't get anyone to take our family picture (everyone was attached to a kid and I didn't want to take them away from what they were doing), so we split up for pictures with Westin.

I could not get a shot of Westin and Ryan without Westin putting his hand up in the air, like he's telling me to stop. Maybe he was just practicing for when the paparazzi showed up - because this is apparently the pumpkin patch where a bunch of the stars get photographed with their kids.

We found our pumpkins!

After the pumpkin patch, we came home to watch the Dodgers sweep the Cardinals in game three of the NLDS. Following that, we grabbed some pizza and had our friends Brian, Emily and Charlie over for the BYU v. UNLV game... which BYU dominated.

Charlie is just a little older than Westin and they are starting to have a lot of fun playing together. For some reason, the kitchen was a big hit with them. They were mad men crawling around and banging on all the cabinets. I love how kids can be so easily entertained.
