Playoffs!!!

It's here, folks. It's officially the post season of baseball, and this year is particularly special because our LA Dodgers will actually be part of the competition. We're matched up with the Cubs in the first round. We'll be in Chicago Wednesday and Thursday and then in LA on Saturday and Sunday. And don't you worry, Ryan already scored us tickets for the game... actually he got tickets for all the Dodger home playoff games. Yeah, a little obsessed, I know - but this could be our year. Lucky for me, Ryan has invited me to the first home game (even though he's my husband and is obligated to take me to the first one, it's still this is a very special invitation). This will be my first baseball playoff game ever and I'm way stoked. I just hope we can beat the Cubs and make it to the second round when Ryan has guaranteed Kurt the second seat (who is coming with his wife Erika to visit in a couple weeks - yay).

So other than getting excited for the MLB playoffs, our weekend was pretty uneventful. Ryan had to work on Saturday and I spent most of the afternoon writing a talk for church (lucky me). Now it's back to the grind of the 5-day work week. Poor Ryan started his week with a 6 a.m. meeting today. Not sure there's really a way to recover from that as the week progresses. Guess we've just got our sports teams to give us something to look forward to. Speaking of which, in one of the sports polls, BYU was ranked #7 this week!!!

Oh, and a quick shout out to my brother Trevor who turns 23 today! Happy birthday!!!
