Santa Barbara Zoo

Just returned from a very enjoyable week in Los Angeles. Westin and I drove down last Sunday through Friday, during his Spring Break. Unfortunately, Ryan had to work, but will be returning to SoCal with us for a trip in May :)

We arrived to my mom's house in the evening, after a very smooth drive through central California (One of the most boring drives ever! Luckily, Westin slept for half of it!). 

Monday, after grandma's visiting dog walker took Sage out for their morning stroll, the three of us headed to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Westin and I had never been and were really looking forward to the day with my mom.

The weather turned out to be clear and gorgeous and the zoo turned out to be a blast. It's definitely on the smaller side, but kept us busy for three hours. We checked out all the animals, rode the train, had our picnic lunch and watched Westin go sledding.
