A Reunion, a Wedding, and a Birthday

As I mentioned in my last post, this past Saturday I reunited with some of my BYU roommates for our other's roomate's wedding in San Diego. The four of us haven't all been together in about four years (at April's wedding), so it was really fun to get together and catch up... and have a little fun like the ol' days.

We met up in the morning and started our mini roadtrip to the San Diego Temple
Waiting for the bride and groom, April, Annalee, me and Sariah (it was a tad windy = bad hair the rest of the day)

Mr. and Mrs. Peter & Megan Ord

Megan, her man and her many roommates through the years
Being a former Westlake Warrior (a rival to the Agoura Chargers), Megan incorporated orange into her wedding colors, along with lime green and teal - everything looked great.

Megan and Peter are big into cycling (and everything outdoors)... so these bike-themed center pieces couldn't have been more perfect for the occasion.

Megan and Peter made their grand entrance as husband and wife to a Michael Jackson song (can't remember which one, but it was upbeat and very fun to watch)
Getting ready to hit the dance floor

Yeah, one night out with the girls and no kids... I tried to take advantage of it

Just trying to remember what it was like when I was cool and partied through the night
By the end of the reception, we were all exhausted, especially April who's expecting a little baby girl this June. She was such a trooper at the reception... think Amy Poehler during the club scene in "Baby's Mama" - priceless.

Girls, it was wonderful to see you. Many more memories to remember. Congratulations, Megan. We're so excited for you.

And last but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, mom! I hope you have a wonderful birthday. We can't wait to celebrate with you this weekend.
