The Zimmer Museum

Nothing heals a battle wound like a trip to the children's museum... so yesterday afternoon we joined our friends Megan and Eli at the Zimmer Museum. This was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't as big as I was expecting, but it definitely had plenty to hold the boys' attention.

We first stopped at the airplane, which had all the cool buttons and steering controls a real airplane has (or close to it) - the boys could have stayed inside this thing ALL day. In fact, I'll have to look into getting one for our place it was that captivating to W ;)

After pulling the boys away from the plane, we stopped to toss coins into this thing (for the life of me, I can't remember what the darn thing is called... help me out). Again, captivating...

Next we ventured downstairs where the real fun began. Here are the boys looking at fake bugs in a glass case.

We also played with the water table, the market and the blocks... but by far, the coolest room there, was this padded play room. Westin had a blast in here. He totally got it and just flopped himself around. It was hilarious to watch. Here are a few pictures of W in action.

We all had a great time and will definitely be going back!
