After a couple days at my mom's, W and I loaded up our things, said goodbye, and headed off to my dad's for the second half of our trip. Well, actually, there was one little stop on the way...
Santa Monica to see this handsome fellow and his fabulous mom, Abby.
We grabbed lunch at True Food Kitchen at Santa Monica Place, where Westin spent time practicing his big brother skills. He did a great job feeding Daniel and was also quite the entertainer when little D started getting upset.
We also got a little time in strolling through the stores, but had to leave far too soon. Yet again, never enough time... miss me my Abby girl!
After an hour and fifteen minutes in traffic getting to Studio City (don't miss that), we joined my dad, Loni and Loni's mom for dinner at Aroma Cafe (our favorite spot to hit near their house). Westin was later surprised with an Easter gift from grandpa and oma - an Easter pezz dispenser and his very own chef/baking set.
This baking set is awesome - comes with an apron, hat, hot pads, bowl, measuring cups, measuring spoons, mixing spoon, timer, spatulas and a whisk. And it's nice quality material too. In fact, W and I made cookies with everything the very next day!
Thursday morning we started the day with a visit to the gym with grandpa. Westin insisted on getting taped up... just like grandpa.
And literally, within minutes of returning home from a nice workout, we were making the cookies.
