Adults Only

A couple weeks ago, Trevor, Shalice and Adam drove up from LA for a quick weekend visit. My niece Miranda and her friend babysat the kids all day Saturday, while the adults went over to Alameda and Berkeley. In Alameda, we took a tour of the USS Hornet, an aircraft carrier from WWII. The ship was huge - the length of three football fields. We spent about three hours on the boat and barely made a dent in it.

Apparently, there was just one Mormon on the ship :)

The "Top Gun" room - actually the pilot debrief room, but doesn't it remind you a little of Top Gun?

Some facts about the ship

After the tour, we went over to Berkeley, where we had lunch at Soop and ice cream at Ici

That night, the boys went to the BYU football game in San Jose. Unfortunately, we lost, but I think it was fun for all the brothers and Grant to spend some time together.

The next day we all headed back down to LA to start the Thanksgiving holiday.
