Our adventures over the last three weeks have been nothing but non-stop fun. We were able to spend lots of time with our family and friends, and packed in a ton of activities. A friend asked me today if I had a chance to relax and refresh... not quite. In fact, I'm a bit vacation-hungover today. You know, like when you need a vacation after the vacation? But this is in no way me complaining... just stating the facts. Great time had by all! Only thing that could have made it better would have been to have Ryan with us. He was stuck working in San Diego. So, on Monday, we actually drove straight there to see him, and then got back to our place yesterday.
Anyway, it was a wonderful trip and we're now happily home safe and sound.
OK, so here are the highlights of the trip (prepare yourself for a long entry):
Williams Family Reunion at Bear River
With Uncle T
With great-grandma
My cousins, Ben and Garret, providing the entertainment
and Westin providing his own entertainment
Getting ready for the ATV ride
So much fun, W fell asleep 15 minutes into the ride
The next day at Mirror Lake and the Upper Provo Falls
With my mom's brother's family - Brent, Brandon, Tanner and Debbie
Back in SLC at Classic Waterslides with Easton
Afternoon visit to see Grandpa Steve at work and get a treat
Girls' night with Kenzie in Provo!
Playdate with cousins, Lily and Gemma
(Lindsay and I like to make the kids clean while we chat and call it a 'playdate' - haha)
BBQ with the Carlston family
Great-grandma Margaret and grandpa Steve
Enjoying a quiet meal for two in the playhouse
Westin and Taryn rolling around in the tunnel - they thought it was the most fun ever!
Watching the old man prove he's still got some guns :)
A little girl time at my mom's house later that evening
Days of 47 Parade and Rodeo
Looking a little weary of the clown (and why shouldn't he be... clowns are scary)
A few minutes later ready to take that same clown down (haha, not really, actually I'm not sure what he was doing at this moment)
At the rodeo - which turned out to be a blast. I had never been to one before and the whole thing was very exciting!
Westin LOVED it... partly because he talked grandpa into buying him this amazing cowboy hat, and partly because every person wearing a cowboy hat was, in fact, a cowboy (of course) and he said hi to every single one!
Lunch with the Ludlow girls at The Dodo
Bowling at BYU
The night also included Cafe Rio and Creamery ice cream... pretty sure it doesn't get any more cliche than that.
Gateway splash pad
Park City
Waiting in line at the Alpine Slides with Chris and Trev
The whole gang
Westin was so excited for the ride and could not have enjoyed it more. I rode down next to my dad and Westin and watched Westin laugh the ENTIRE way down.
Riding the Alpine Coaster with Kenzie
So that wraps up our Utah trip. We were then in San Diego for a couple days, but my camera died, so no pictures there.
Ryan gets home tonight, so we're looking forward to getting all weekend with him. Can't wait!

So fun to see you. You look beautiful in all these pics...but you always do. Bowling and the creamery huh? Has it really been 10 years since we did that together??
