Grandpa and Oma Visit

After my mom and Ryan's parents left, my dad and Loni were able to come visit for a weekend. Westin was beyond thrilled because he had already convinced grandpa to tell him about the surprise he was getting... which was this awesome ninja costume Loni found. In fact, Westin was so excited about the costume he begged me the entire ride to the airport if he could put it on in the car as soon as grandpa and Oma arrived. I basically had no choice.

We then met up with Ryan for dinner at Chow in Lafayette, where we had the pleasure of dining with the new ninja.

Back home, grandpa couldn't wait to get his hands on Avery...

probably because holding a newborn gives you an excuse to nap ;)

Ryan had to go back to Zug, Switzerland for work that Saturday for the next week, so it was good timing to have my dad and Loni around. 

We spent some time in downtown Walnut Creek, dining, shopping and eating ice cream.

Thanks dad and Loni for the visit - never long enough!!! Come back as soon as you can!
