The Time Has Come

After five great years in LA (and several more, if you count our years here individually pre-marriage), our time in this wonderful city is up... at least for now. Ryan has accepted a job with The Partners Group, an investment management firm, where he'll be working in their real estate group. The firm is actually headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, with most of their offices being international and just two here in the US; New York and San Francisco. We will actually start out in Zug for three months, before moving up north to San Francisco. Yup, you read that right, we're moving out to Switzerland for three whole months - plenty of time to host lots of visitors :)

While my heart breaks to even think about leaving LA (seriously, tears come to my eyes just typing those words... saying goodbye to our friends, family and this town will be beyond difficult), we are truly excited and eager to begin this next chapter of our lives. Ryan and I both feel strongly that the Lord has blessed us with this opportunity and has opened the doors to make this all happen.

Ryan begins work on July 16th, giving him just a few weeks of vacation time after graduation. We'll be in Zug for at least three months and will then head straight up to San Francisco. We're looking forward to going up there in March to scout out the area and hopefully decide where exactly we want to be.

And hopefully, we can make our way back down to SoCal in the future... this is home.
