March Madness

March seemed filled with activities and fun moments.

Spent an afternoon in Oakland with my friend and fellow donut lover Michele. We stopped by Donut Savant to try their version of the cronut, along with almost every other flavor they offered.

Also enjoyed an evening at our ward's version of Test Kitchen, where I demoed frosting a cake and offered some of my cake baking tips.

Avery and I took advantage of Westin's extended day at school and went into the city with Missy and Harvey for lunch at Tacko and shopping around Pacific Heights.

On another equally gorgeous day in the city, we visited the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park.

Biggest moment of the month was this happening! Spent some time with Ryan teaching Westin to ride a bike. After a lot of balance practicing on this hill, W picked it up and was able to ride on the street, on his own, in a matter of seconds.

Watched BYU play St. Mary's in baseball - which was probably a good idea in theory but turned out to be a bit of a snore for the boys who were more interested in snacks.

Toward the end of the month, we got a visit from Kenzie. I loved having her around, and getting some one-on-one time with her.

And sometimes when mom forces you to shop with the girls, you just have to let off a little steam.

And in no time, you're happy again.
