December Recap - Before Christmas

Back at the beginning of December, I was in LA, (during Westin's birthday), for work and for play. After Westin's birthday weekend, I had some more work the next week, but we did get a chance to see some more friends.

Chris started his Christmas break and came in to town the day before we were heading back to SF. So we got to hang with him... 

And then got to take him back to SF with us for the week before we headed back to LA for Christmas.

Meanwhile, Ryan was in Switzerland for the week for work. He did get a few fun activities in, including a night of curling and a big Christmas party at the end of the week.

Chris, W and I arrived home around 3 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. I raced to the grocery store, then cleaned myself up and jumped on the BART to meet Ryan in the city for dinner. He had just landed at SFO and dropped his bags off at his office. We ate at Blue Stem Brasserie, which was delicious. (Thanks Doug and Jan for the recommendation). It was so nice to have some time with Ryan, after being apart for two weeks. 

The rest of the week, we tried to get out and show Chris around town when it wasn't raining. We did a little shopping and strolling in Walnut Creek.

Spent a day in the city, where we met Ryan for lunch and then explored the Pier and Ghiradelli Square.

Saw Rise of the Guardians (with W in his Spiderman costume), played at the park, and hung out at the house (darn rain!).

The week flew by and before we knew it, it was already time to pack up and head back to LA for Christmas. That will all come next.
