Ryan's Birthday and the California Academy of Science

Ryan turned 31, back on February 9th, and to celebrate, we spent the day at the California Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park. It was our first time at the Academy of Science and we had a great time exploring all they had to offer - IMAX, penguin exhibit, earthquake simulation, aquarium, and tropical rain forest. 

At the penguin exhibit, we watched the penguins get fed and listened to a question and answer session. Westin was among the few who asked a question, and I was totally impressed with what he had to ask - we were looking at African penguins, so Westin asked, "what's the difference between African penguins and Arctic penguins?" 

All tuckered out after 6 hours of exploration and learning.

On his actual birthday, we invited friends over and celebrated with cake and ice cream.
