Halloween 2013

While I'm not overly into Halloween, we always seem to celebrate it for an entire week and it turns out to be one of the most memorable holidays during the year. This year was no exception. We had a great time picking out our pumpkins a couple weeks ago, and W has been dying to get his hands on them ever since. We decided to paint one and then carve the bigger one a couple days before Halloween.

W started painting a spooky face on his pumpkin, and then decided to just cover the entire thing in all sorts of colors.

                                                              He was rather proud.

Making sure to get as much use out of his costume as possible, we went trick-or-treating in downtown Walnut Creek, attended a community Halloween party at the YMCA, and ran errands as Captain Rex.

We couldn't get Westin to stop for a single second at the YMCA party to take a picture with us, so we just opted for one of the three of us.

Of course, there was also the ward Halloween party, which is the one time Ryan and I dressed up this year - sporting the go-to 80's look.

Westin decided to switch it up for the ward party and went as a ninja, which turned out to be perfect because he matched his buddy Kayden.

Hanging out with our friends, the Foxs

I kinda dropped the ball on getting this cutie a costume, but she didn't see to mind.

Finally getting around to carving our pumpkin.

One of our neighbors did a good job decorating for Halloween, and Westin loved going by it on a daily basis.

Sporting his new hair cut, W was very excited to go trick-or-treating as Captain Rex.

We started our Halloween night at the Packers, where W played big brother to cute Teddy.

Ready to get some candy

Got to hang out with these fabulous ladies throughout the night - Tiffany, Aubrey and Kristin.

And here's four years of Halloween... he's growing up too fast!

Sure do love this kid!
