Avery is Two Months

This beautiful, happy little girl is officially two months old. I said it with Westin and I'll say it again, time is flying by and I can't believe our little newborn is more like our little baby now. 

A little about Avery at two months:

-she is a great eater

-she's been a rockstar sleeper at night, usually giving us about 6-8 hours after she goes to bed around 9:30 (attributing that success partly to Baby Wise and the Miracle Blanket, but mostly miss Avery)

-she is full of smiles and has been since about 5 weeks

-she loves her hands and sticks them in her mouth any chance she gets

-she is showing little signs of laughing, usually when dad tries to tickle her

-she is very alert and loves looking around at movement and light

-she adores her older brother

-she's got the sweet smile, and piercing blue eyes like her dad and brother

With the two month milestone, comes the two month doctor appointment and the shots. Ugh, nothing worse than taking your babies in for immunizations. It's the pits. 

She had a great check-up and is growing perfectly. 

Weight: 12 lbs. (50th percentile)

Height: 23 inches (75th percentile)

Of course, most of the day following the shots looked a lot like this.

Simply adoring every second with this beautiful little girl.
